Ghana Bound!

So...we leave for Ghana one week from today and are in the final stages of preparation. Our schedules have been full of doctor’s appointments, trips to the Embassy, fundraising events, and team meetings. Without question, as each day passes, our excitement mounts!

God’s blessings for this trip have been bountiful, and our team is anxiously anticipating all that HE is going to do while we are in country! Through various fundraisers and the AMAZING support of family and friends, God has provided the finances necessary to build a school. What an honor it is to be allowed to be a part of His ministry to these beautiful children. I can think of no greater privilege.

On Sunday, we will gather together to spend time in fellowship with HIM and each other, fill our suitcases with the donations that have been collected, and focus on any last minute details. We will then attend church together—where Pastor Dave and members of our church family have committed to pray for His anointing on each of us for the ministry of HIS gospel.
We depart on Thursday, August 5 and return on Saturday, August 14. While in country, we will share His love with the kids living on the street, begin construction on the school, and capture (through film) the story of those whom we are going to serve. We hope that the short film that we produce will assist Sovereign Global Mission with their efforts to minister to the children of Ghana, as well as make others aware of the difficulties that these precious children face. Extra prayers for this film would be GREATLY appreciated!!!

If you wish to stay updated on our activities while in country, you can follow our blog, or join our facebook page. We will update them as often as possible!
