Snowflakes danced around us as we walked down a charming Main Street, lined with newly snow covered trees. We strolled through the quaint shops as mom got her Christmas shopping started, and I picked up a few "last minute" things.
We had dinner at a great Adirondack restaurant with an antique atmosphere.
They had a charming outdoor patio area, and I decided to warm up by the fire (since I wasn’t wearing a coat).
The hotel we stayed at had an indoor pool and spa, and mom and I were able to relax on our own while the little CAN-AM l hockey players were gone. The rest of the night was spent watching TV, eating homemade Adirondack chocolates, and talking all through the night.
Thank you God for my most wonderful mom!
